Rev. Jerri Mitchell-Lee
Reverend Jerri Mitchell-Lee, a native of Brooklyn, NY, has been a citizen of Newark, New Jersey since 1972 when she relocated to accept a teaching position. She has been a part of the Unity Fellowship Church Movement since 1997 while serving at UFC Liberation In Truth in Newark, New Jersey. Reverend Lee left Newark in to become one of the founding clergy of Unity Fellowship Church Baltimore, Maryland. After serving in Baltimore she was led to serve in Richmond Virginia in a leadership capacity and develop a homeless outreach. Reverend Lee is presently serving at Unity Fellowship Church NewArk as Co- Pastor with Elder Kevin E. Taylor Senior Pastor. She continues to develop her passion of outreach and wellness. She currently serves on Newark Homeless Coalition, City of Newark Interfaith Alliance, LGBTQ Board of Directors, and continues to volunteer at several Community organizations as well as the founder of Outrageous Outreach and non-profit service organization.
Reverend Jerri Mitchell-Lee attended Kansas University, Newark School of Theology, Howard University School of Theology, Rutgers University as well as training through the State of New Jersey as a health educator and EMT/Paramedic.
Reverend Lee is the published author of five books addressing such topics as Spirituality and Sexuality, Street Outreach, Folk tales and short stories. She continues to train and teach in Newark, New Jersey in the areas of outreach, Spirituality and Sexuality, domestic violence, health and wellness and staff development. Reverend Lee lives in her passion to work out and runs at least one ½ marathon a year while always encouraging others to live their best healthy lives.
